We pride ourselves in finding federal, state, and philanthropic dollars to fund our work and provide the highest quality of programs at no cost for the community. However, monetary and in-kind donations remain a crucial source of support, enabling us to quickly respond to emerging needs, expand our reach, and ensure sustainability for our programs. These donations allow us to fill gaps in funding, adapt to unforeseen challenges, and continue delivering vital services to those who need them most.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Promise South Salt Lake! We accept volunteers starting at 14 years old. 14 and 15 year olds generally require a parent or guardian to be present. 14 - 17 year olds require a minor wavier. 18 + require a background check. All must complete a self paced orientation and quiz. One time volunteers do not require a background check.
The South Salt Lake Cares Coalition is our aligned effort to create community-wide change where every one from every sector can play a role. The Coalition consists of any community members, leaders, and businesses who want to help create better lives for everyone in South Salt Lake. Being a member of the coalition involves attending monthly meetings and supporting the Coalition's work in a variety of ways that that fit within your interests, skills, and schedule.
